Mowing keeps your grass trim, but it doesn’t address your lawn’s health. A regular fertilizing routine replenishes the soil with vital nutrients, giving you lush, bountiful grass that better resists insect damage and the effects of extreme heat.
A deeply-rooted, flourishing lawn is the best natural weed protection. Grover offers an organic herbicide blend and nutrient-rich soil amendments to revitalize your yard. We create a lawn so thick that weeds simply have nowhere left to grow.
Soil testing is vital for assessing soil health, nutrient levels, and pH. The composition of your soil informs what fertilization methods work best and what
Lawns and turfgrasses, in general, provide a home for a diverse number of insects and microorganisms that represent their small aspect of the food chain.
Organic weed control involves managing weeds without synthetic chemicals. While “organic” might suggest a hands-off approach, many weeds are invasive, stealing nutrients and water from
We primarily service West Knoxville neighborhoods and surrounding cities, including Sequoyah Hills, Rocky Hill, Northshore, Farragut, Lenoir City, Tellico, and Hardin Valley. We’ll travel for the right partnership — please call us if your home is outside of this region.
Do you use only organic products?
Grover offers both fully organic and golf-course quality turf care packages. While all of our products are chosen with environmental sustainability in mind, it’s important to note that some of the most effective weed killers don’t meet the EPA requirements for an organic herbicide label. Our goal is to build a healthy, thriving lawn. We don’t use products with harmful chemicals that would work against that goal.
Does Grover include lawn mowing, trim, and clean-up?
Grover is primarily focused on turf care. For mowing, landscaping, and clean-up, we’ll gladly refer you to our sister company, Bright Grove Landscaping.
There are many turf care companies. What makes Grover different?
We specialize in turf care science and are led by an expert with a degree in horticulture and turfgrass management. Our fertilization approach is based on soil studies to address underlying nutritional deficiencies that prevent a lush, thriving lawn. Turf care is absolutely a business where you get what you pay for, and we invest in only the finest products and experienced technicians.
Do you offer discounts?
We can offer a paid-in-full discount at the start of the season, but generally we are not a “discount” lawn service provider. We pay our service experts fair wages and source the best fertilizing agents for premium results. If you want a cheap lawn care company that gives you cheap results, that’s not us.
On hot days, it’s best to water your lawn in the early morning hours. We recommend 1″ of water per week, ideally spread out as four applications of 0.25″, including rainfall.
